fuel gauge faulty in monte carlo

    can anyone tell me if there are any usual problems with montes and fuel guages ? the car has only done 12 k from new so it seems to me strange to have a fault like this, ive checked all earth connections but cant find anything wrong, does anyone have a diagram for the fuel gauge wiring ?

    as far as i know its a g-body thang


    ive had two regals both with bad gauges

    my bros monte had a bad gauge

    his regals gauge was bad

    his elky's gauge eventually went bad

    ive seen a few other montes and cuttys with bad gauges

    i need info on how to fix this too cause my current regals gauge is also bad

    i vote for bad ground

    rust on the top off the tank were you cant get too
