Does the bearing feel roff (spell check) when you have it in your hand and spin it? Is this one of those sealed bearings in the front end.

It's real hard to trouble shoot looking at font typed out. This is a good one, If was I was there to check it out i might be of some help. Just remembered, sometimes the auto manufactures have these update bulletins or silent recalls, maybe a check might find something. Also Michele on Demand and Alldata could have updates from the dealers on this.

How are you installing it, press or hammer?

for some reason, the bearing could also be getting real hot
also, there might be play at where the bearing sits, allowing it to come apart and to wear out too soon.

also, how are you tightening the axle shaft nut? air gun or on the ground using a torque wrench?

If you are not torquing the axle nut down to the proper spec, leaving it loose can tear up the bearing real quick. But yes something is seriously wrong if you are replacing the same one over and over.

are you using a torque wrench when you tighten the axle shaft nut? improper torque will mess up a bearing fast.. I have changed lots of these hubs in montana's and uplander's but they were usually from driver abuse

yes sir.... over torqued i doubt it... but if that axle nut is loose at all the bearing will walk and tear up fast.

If u are re-using the same axle nut over and over with no loc tite it could be coming loose. Is this the gm style bolt on hub assy, or a press fit bearing?
