    Default 350 Chevy firing order

Just wanna make sure I got this right..
Okay also when I did this motor swap on the 77 coupe, I labeled all wires on both motors except... THe firing order. I got an image off google however I wanna make sure I read it right. If the read the "Delco Remy" straight across I figured that the 1 & 8 are up front like the image depicts (which puts the plug on the right side) and go from there. Or do you compesate for how much the distributors is turned in? It has a directional arrow on the goole image however my distributor is turned the opposite way? Thanks in advance!

works like this you need to find top dead center thats when your rotor. white cap under the dristibuter points to no.1. you also need to find out witch way your rotor is spinning. without top dead center you can't find out witch is no.1. so take the spark plug out on no.1 and turn your motor till you feel air coming out the hole. or pit a screw driver or wire in the hole the piston no.1 need to rise to the top of the cylinder. then you can start your firing order. the rotor will point at the no.1 nipple on your distributer.

finding #1 is eazy any one can become #1 on the distributer. theres not a set starting point but there is a way to find witch one is #1 your motor needs a starting point. this is called tdc top dead center. its real eazy you just need a mechanic to walk you throw it

Better yet, or he can go to his local junkyard and scoop up another 350. It'd be the best $$ he ever spent
