    Default Powerglide to a TH350 on a 63

    Hey guys new around here gonna be doing a swap sometime this year took out my 327 with the powerglide and throwing in a new sbc 350 crate with a rebuilt th350 my question is in order to continue to use my ss center console on my 63 impala is the shiftworks shifter my only solution if so is it a gteat alternative when changing out the ol powerglide shifter?

    Well the th350 was given to me maybe in the future I'll swap it for a 700 but anyone out there use the shiftworks shifter?

    I used a shift works shifter. I didn't have an issue with it. Install is in my build

    A 2004r is also the same length and driveshaft, you just have to move the trans crossmember back.

    You're going to have to do a little more work but the 700r4 is a much better choice for such a big car. Planning on doing the same to my 63 in a few months.

    Thanks man found your pictures on the install and how you fabricated your linkage...definitely helpful and I'll will be taking the same route on the shiftworks shifter...bad ass ride btw!
