    Kandy over clear?
I completed my second kandy paint job succesfully.. I used HOK Urethane Kandy Apple Red over a Gold Base with UC-35 clear. It is completelly cured now.. It could have used two more coats of Kandy though. I wanted a darker looking Red. My question is, Can I Sand down the clear and then coat it with Kandy ?

you would prolly get away with it if you sand the clear right down good, juss dotn burn threw it, then shoot more candy and some more clear,
i have never attempted it but i think it owuld work

like he said dont break thru and you will be coo, if you do break thru it could be dangerous because hok products are very hot, ( the solvents in them) and they can attack an area that has broken thru . if you do breakthru use a fast dry clear to kindof "seal " the break thru , let that dry thourally scuff it , and then . kandy

ya i was told to do the flake under the clear was to do your flake then clear then wetsand then candy, so thats pretty much the same thing, kandy over the clear, shouldnt matter if you have put kandy under the clear already or not, just wetsand and do some more

of course, its the exact same concept as wetsanding and reclearing. hit it with 600-800 and go for it.
    I don't apologize. I'm sorry, but that's just the way I am.
