hi there layitlowers!

i blew the olds 307 in my 88 fleetwood, and while i dont know the extent of the damage to the motor, i dont care. i have myself a olds 350 w/ th350 tranny that i got some years ago to replace it!

i dont know how long it will be before i can drive the cadillac again, but hopefully by tonite i can have the motor pulled out...

only thing left to unbolt is driveshaft, tranny mount, motor mount, and some other loose ends.

what a pain in the ass this thing is to work on! but its all worth it to me!

my 307 had over 200,000 on it before it died. i drove my cadillac all the way from hartford connecticut to los angeles california. with hydraulics on it, no accumulators, and only minor difficulties.

welp, i hate to say it, but i wasnt able to get the motor out today. help took to long to come through and it got dark before i could get the motor mounts undone. but i did get the driveshaft, exhaust, speedo cable, and some other things off

yeah the 350 will bolt right in, but i need new ones, so im just gonna pull them out with the motor.
