so i looked up the specifications and the sensitivity says 87.6 db so does that mean i need to have my amp at 87.6 db for best quality or performance or is that the max amount it will handle?and the impedance says 4 ohm dual coil so does that mean i need a 4 ohm amp as well? as you can tell im quite new to the technical audio game.thanks in advance for any input

87.6 db means the input sensitivity, if you get a amp at 100 watts put it to the jl at 87.6 db it wont play as loud to a speaker lets say 92.2db. if your looking for speakers that you will be putting to a stock radio or to a radio and not a amp look 4 a speaker that has a high db sensitivity. it will play louder. it dont take much to make them sound good. 4 ohm lets you know how to wire the sub and what amp to put 2 it... if it is a dual 4 ohm you can get a 2 or 8 ohm load. now a 500 watt amp at 4 ohms now turns to a 250 watt amp at 8 ohms and a 750 to 1000 watt amp at 2 ohms. you can go down to 1 ohm but you got to make sure your amp will handle it. if you got any more questions just pm me. im pretty good but not a master. i will help you with anything you need
