Dec 27 2004, 11:13 AM
I'm not sure if I'll be there.... I said to myself I wouldn't go back last year after only seeing a handful of cars with juice...
It wasn't worth the $$ to get in and park... I've seen more lowriders in my driveway during the summer and I can see that for free...
We may have a car there but I'm not sure. I need to talk to that person about that... I'll go to support my fellow members...

yea the lincolns fine now. last week brought it to the garage because there was a rattle under the drivers seat, so i thought i broke another motor mount but it turned out i bent some hanger that allowed the exhaust to hit the drivers floor when i drove it. so all he did was bend it back down. i still gotta put in my new 12in chrome cylinders, and my new springs all the way around. Other wise the cars good to go. so did you find out when your going to the world of wheels show(sat or sunday) so we could meet up

Are you just into Hopping? YES one will be fine... No if you want side- to side. It's really not hooked up too different than a normal dump from what I've heard

A big differnece would be if they threw the show a different time of year. Check out their site they have a show in AZ around March / April they should trade with Boston next year..

So what happened to your site I just tried checkin it out?

The dump will help a little bit. It's mostly the switchman.. other things come into play too.. like the pumphead, motor, springs, batteries CCA , voltage and so forth.

Dec 28 2004, 12:46 PM
what do u recommend for springs? and i wanna run 6 batteries at 72 volts
blueouija
Dec 28 2004, 12:53 PM
3 or 4 ton... it's up to you Try to run them as many turns as you can.. they settle a bit within a month then you can hop the shit out of it. Won't sit low though
oh yeah the 3 ton will fit in nicely and the 4 ton springs are thick so you'll have to open up the spring pockets a bit on that frome.

I'll say reinforce before anything then for that car you should run 3 1/2 to 4 tons then do 8 to 10 batt, a pair of deep cups for the front extend the upper A-arms 3 1/4 to 1" Now you can keep it single pump or do 3 its up to you, the rest is on the switchman like Jay said.
and stay away from piston pumps if this is your 1st juice car. But remember the more you hop more shit you brake wtch means more $ to spend.
