Indeed a dump issue pull the dump apart its probable cartridge shaft that is just sticking remove springs and shaft then spray with some WD40 then reassemble fi that doesn't work just get a new dump.

CJ he just bought Italian dumps. While you have it apart I would also spray comressed air thru all the openins to remove any grime/teflon tape/ etc. Wouldnt hurt to replace the seals too.. If none of that works then time to send back the new dump. To be honest since its new anyways I would send it back period.
