Thanks man.. the pics make it look cleaner than it really is though. Definately needs some body work and paint, like i said its hard to tell in the pics but once thats done the car will be straight and ready for some 13's or 14's. Havent decided yet! Then maybe switches, have to see what she wants to do with it.

I would like to thank each and every one of you who came to the tru-ridez 4th annual cookout, and also much thanks to all who came and represented themselves and their clubs. but to those who formed their own little cliques and stayed to themselves thinking they were better than others or just too scary to represent themselves and their nationality, wake up, this is 2004, i invited everyone, meaning to come and join the fun, pay your respects, and meet new people. this town is too small and lowriding here isnt that big, so we got to stick together, represent, and hit no switches, and for those who's worried about tru ridez cars, that are undrer construction, they will not be shown until they are completed and ready to be shown. again thanks to all that came and represented, and look foward to our next function, it will be posted...

By the way, car show Mulligans Island on route2 (Reservoir Ave) in Cranston from 5-8 today hopefully the rain clears before then.

when we first got there, we were on the other side of the field(where all the shade was).. we started setting up, while somebody went to go pick up a grill(because the site we rented was supposed to have grills), so anyway, even before we started setting up, state troopers rolled by, and then the park maitenence(or whatever they were) rolled by, but we didnt think anything of it...
so we started setting up(without a grill), and another maitenence guy came back around, asking if we had a permit... we told him we did, and he left...
after that, when we were finished setting up, and the grill had just arrived, i was starting up the grill, and another park guy came back around and told me "dont light that".. so im getting all confused, and he got out of his truck and told me that if we were cooking we had to be on "a site"
so then, he explained that the spot we rented was on the other side of the field... we were a little pissed, but we moved everything to the other side (with NO SHADE!!
) we got on the other side after the people who were already there got kicked off our spot, and we set up...
now, we notice a state trooper posted at the other side of the field, and all of the sudden he's heading our way...
he gets here, doesnt get out the car, but when he's leaving, i guess somebody got nervous and took off.. now he's following the car that just left, probably thinking that it was somebody from the cookout...
later on, the cop came back around, so did the maitenence guys, twice, then, a lady that works at the park comes sniffing around, picked up like two pieces of trash, looked around some more and left...
no real problems, besides the ricers burning out when they left(every time), and the cops and park rangers that kept coming around "checking up on us".. probably just waiting to see something that wasn't right, so they'd have something to complain about......
overall, i had fun tho....
great turn out..
