Default Rewiring early 50's chevy truck

Anyone rewire the early chevy trucks? How difficult will this be for a first timer. I'm no mechanic, but am comfortable working on cars.

Is it doable for an inexperienced person, or, is it worth paying someone $$$$ to do it?

    Default "53" 3100 Parts Truck

First Timer.............I've done small re-wire repairs but this was my first complete re-wire...I re-wired my 53, 3100... 235 Straight Six.Complete re-wire from front headlights to rear tail lights, and all instrument clusters within dash.Downloaded wiring diagram from internet, purchased all new wiring (correct wire gauge), connections and even upgraded connections for under dash for quick removal.I wasn't in a hurry so it took me about a week once I had all my material.
