on the contrare PS2's run on 12V! You can actually un solder the a/c plug, re route the new power wires directly to the 12V and ground inside the PS2. Much cheaper than buying an inverter, but works great.

I actually started by testing on a old NES, some things never change, but it works great.

the nomial voltage on a PS2 is 13.8VDC as most game system are.

someone a while ago said they where 5.5v internal.......

Well if you got one layin around try it.

Shit just look at the specs on the inside of the PS2. Also you can simply look at whats going on if you any knowledge of electronics and follow the route of electricity and see what the inverter rating is.

Pretty easy with some knowledge.
