Hi I want to put 13x7 wire wheels on my 02 volkswagen beetle I was hoping someone could tell me if this is possible and what do I need to do, I know I could go to a rim shop but I can't afford that I was hoping there was a way to do it myself. Please let me know if it is possible.

All you need are the correct hubs. You will need 5x100 hubs. Here is a pic of my bug from around 2002. These are 20’s and had them fitting. You need to use a wheel that has the front wheel drive offset.

your bettles factory wheels are 17’s
going up in size is possible
going down in size is going to be limited to the diameter of your disc brakes
so tucking the entire brake assembly into the 13” wheel is not so likely Without lots of spacers to make the wheels stick out outside of the wheel well.
then u need mudflaps.
