i have a 94 caprice wagon. i currently have 14x7 player wires and they rub my inner fender. i have already cut out the inner lip. if i was to get 14x7 daytons would they still rub or should i just get 14x6's?

14x7 real daytons will not rub in the rear there offset is a little different from the rest.

when i get hydraulics would there still be enough clearance? someone that i had talked to suggested i get my rear shortened a few inches

the only problem i have with getting 13's is that i drive the car a lot and the damn thing already weighs as much as a tank and i don't even have hydraulics yet. i plan on getting my frame wrapped and adding a 10 battery, 4 pump setup.

sticker on my car says 5,644 lbs and that's stock, nothing but 13's on that. I personally don't like the way 14's look. But that's just me. 13's won't rub though (or at least they don't on mine)

also how much work would it be to put them on? grinding calipers, etc.

I haven't grinded my calipers, just got small washers on my lugs, and they are cool. Never had a problem.
