ok i get a call from a homie up north saying he needs 5 tires for a new set of og's 13 and the local tire shop says they disscontinued the whitewall 13" .... so i can get them around SC but is it happen anywhere else????????

Around here you can get 155/80 13 at just about every small or big tire shop. Seems like every 6 months or so, people "hear" that they're going to be hard to find. That may be true in the future but for now from what i can tell, they're still easy enough to find. No need to go stocking up on 13's, lol.

i also think he was trying to get that so called 450000 mileage tire 165-80-13
around here they keep 4 on stock at all times for a less than 25 bucks each

Pepboys has them,Cornell 1000 $20 a tire last time I bought them...

They went up on price homie there $25 but discount tires have the Kelly's in stock for $23 cash and carry......some manufactures still make them but that tire size in a white wall is a dying breed........In the not too distant future you'll have to buy the black walls in a 13" ,cut and vinyl paint them bitches... :biggrin:

i don't think thats gonna happen, theres always some company thats gonna keep producing them because just think about it, if no one produces them anymore besides one company, then everybody would go with that one company and they would win money with this so theres always gonna be someone doing them

WHAT IF? every company stopped making white wall 13,14 and 15" tire sizes?

I think someone who could speak for the lowrider community could having a meeting with a single tire manufacurer to make a decent whitewall tire in 155-80-13, 175-70-14 and 195-60-15s

a strong tire with a decent look, they could make alot of money being the only tires people were buying for this application.

Hopefully the representatives just dont go to Coker and have it labeled as a vintage custom tire

what do you mean buffed in? they arent going to be laying white in the siewalls if they do away with whitewalls.

maybe vulcanizing white walls will become more common.

I dont get how you guys think 5.20s are cool but plush interiors are out of style..
