What mods to the suspension or anywhere else would I have to do to run some 16 or 18 inch cylinders in the rear?

trailing arms?

drivshaft?

rear axle?

to put 12's in my regal we extended the top and bottom trailing arms 2" ur gonna have to notch the piece of metal that right under your bottom top trailing arm (dont cut your brake cable) found that out the hardway notch the bump stop mount on your lower trailing arm and shorten your driveshaft and inch i also drop your top trailing arm mounts 5" and get an extended brake line.

there's a lot of mods you have to do to get full lift out of 16-18's, and you need a slip shaft driveline and have proper pinon angle on the driveline so you can drive locked and layed, its alot of work.

You'll need a coil over set up, slip yoke driveshaft with a carries bearing and extended uppers with dropped frame mounts... That'll do it.

And strap the frame...
