If you haven't done it before then it could be a pain. Plan on at least one day. Disconnect your battery. Get some sandwich bags or something to keep the screws you remove in. Try to keep track off what screws go where. I recommend using lots of sandwich bags and marking them with the location that the hardware came from. You have four screws in the defroster vents that need to come off. Be careful you don't destroy the shift indicator when remove the section of dash where the gauges are.

I would recommend going to a DIY junkyard and practicing taking the dash out of one of their cars. If anything, you will at least have spare hardware to replace the ones you will lose during disasembly.

Oh, the headlight switch has a little button that you have to press to remove the headlight knob.

Have fun!!

I find hobby paint is the best paint and then I finish it off with a few coats of clear coat. You really wanna wash down and lightly sand the piece you want to paint. Otherwise it will look like crap later on when it dries. I would practice on some spare interior pieces until you get it right
