a 2.8 isnt known to be a good motor, they blow easy, the crank is only about as big around as your finger and with that many miles i wouldnt really trust it but hey its your call

My fianece dad has a 95 stang gt with 204,000 the only thing EVER been replaced is the belt, battery, altenator and the water pump and it has all been done over 175000( other than the belt) trany shifts like it i did when he got it. Man takes mad care of his ride!! He drives it from fort pierce to boca every day! thats a 2 hour ride at 85 mph!!

with in the last month rust on the trunk lid was removed and a new paint job was applied.

ya, 2.8's are kinda worthelss after about 120,000 in my opinion
my blazer has a 4.3 and its a 90 with 160,000 and ive only replaced general stuff on it since ive had it (belt, fuel pump, water pump, and alternator) its a nice motor, big and fast, but nothing too big, i was suprised when i first got it.
