alright i changed my mind i don't think a 12 will fit between my seats so i am lookin for two 10"s that hit i like rap music if that helps i don't wanna pay more than $450 for the pair any suggestions are appreciated :biggrin:

The man was talking about Resonant Engineering when he said "RE" ... i don't know how you got sony out of that. i think sony has "SE" series, not sure though, plus you won't get too many people here recomending sony. Although home soround sound is pretty good from sony :biggrin:

my bad i googled RE SX and some sony subs popped up but are ma audio subs good at all? where can i learn what makes a sub good?instead of just askin yall cause i know yall are gettin tired of it

fuck no its not, my 14 year old bose 201 series III off of a 8 year old pioneer 7 channel 100 watts x 7 whomps on my dads ht sony system :uh:

READ my friend, just read...

if you go out and sample different subs, then you will get a feel for the sub that right for YOU... some ppl like subs that have a sonic-boom type of charecteristic and dont car that the sound quality may be on the poor side, or that the sub plays loosly depending on frequency...

some ppl like rythmic bass, thats more on the sound quality side of things... still get deep, still get loud, but alot better sound, and tighter bass notes...

just get out and sample, look at the specs of what your sampling...compare the sound from this sub to that sub that have similar specs, ask questions, spend time in forums and car audio shops and go from there...

how can you compare bose and sony when it comes to home audio?...thats like comparing NFL to pop warner

so? saying sony has some high quality home theatre stuff, is like saying a 4 banger is better than a v10 in a 6k lb truck.
