i got a 1984 fleetwood with a 4100, the transmission is a 400 turbo 4 speed......will a 350 bolt right upto it or will i need a new tranny?

i dont think the 4100s have a TH400 tranny cuz those aint overdrive they have only 3 speeds. its a TH325 or TH200 i think. either way it want bolt to a chevy 350 you gotta get an adapter plate, lakewood makes one, summit sells it.

rolinslow were do you get the "adapterplate"from to bolt the tranny to the 350??

mine is a 4speed tho....i know for a fact cuz all the other lacs me and my dad got kickin around(mid 80s like mine) are all 3 speed

I'm workin right now on that shit to but mine is a 81 coupe.
I just bought the 350, trans and the driveshaft : I think tha's the best way to go cuz nuthin fit between chevy n cadi'z.

It's a good job man be ready for action....

I gotta a 81 coupe deville and the mounts do not fits with my chevy 350 ....


maybe it will work with olds or buick but chevy's not the same mounts
