my buddy Micha ready to get off the ferry in Trelleborg/Sweden

[attachmentid=281506]

[attachmentid=281507]

[attachmentid=281508]
stop near Rostock, where we camped the next night (Rostock is a town in Germany, where I live, so it was a pleasure for us to camp in Rostock/Sweden) ;)

[attachmentid=281510]
stop along the way to Backamo

[attachmentid=281511]
finally there

[attachmentid=281512]
the way back

we took about 1100 pictures of the cars in Backamo. But that's to much for here and a bit offtopic since the were just a few lowriders up there - mainly pre 60s cars and hotrods.

fo' sure - we got mad props from all the car guys in Backamo for riding our bikes up there. Some total strangers pulled up on us asking: "Are you the guys that came up here from germany by bicycle? That's sick! :biggrin: " ...

yep - them 144s were the first thing I bought after the trailer arrived in my garage. ;)

Thanks man! :)

Sweden is soooo nice. I guess when it's getting politically worse over here in Germany I'm off and try to get a job in Sweden - that's for sure. All the peps we met were really nice, they all speak english, weather been nice (just 1 & 1/2 days rain). I really liked it!:thumbsup:

lol, take a full bike as an example, same bike, are about 200 euro cheaper in germany if you don't count the shipping, thats why it would be great if someone could just bring em here with them :biggrin:

lol, i'm just kidding, but it would be real cool.

bit off topic this really but;
have you heard about power hot rod reunion here in sweden?
considering you like old style weekend, you might like this too.
its like a mix between a show with hot rods and customs,
and actual drag racing with 60's front engine dragsters.

and you just have to come see power meet too,
its the best thing ever.

well, I like the OldStyle with flat paint, wide whites on steel rims and loud pipes. But I'm more into metal flakes, chrome&gold, wire wheels and candy paintjobs. ;) :cool:

Anyway - there's gonna be a straight up traditional lowrider meeting next year in Stockholm. I'm gonna be there with my lowriderbike fo' sure!

Dunno about "PowerMeet" and "hotRod Reunion". Should be really cool - but that's 4 meetings in Sweden that I want to go to (PowerMeet, HotRodReunion, A-Bombers-OldStyle-Weekend and UCE C.C. Stockholm Meet) and in the end it's all about the money I don't have - you know. ;)

We'll see. :)

we had them locked to the next tree and we were sleeping in that tent right next to the bikes in an environment were the next village was about 5 km away. No need to worry about the bikes getting stolen. ;)
