Has anyone here used 6v motors before? It seems like a good idea, because you can use half of the batt's. But, do they burn out quicker?

If I'm not mistaken they don't have very much torque.
IF YOU RUN 4 BATTERIES TO THEM, THEY WILL HAVE TWICE THE TORQUE AS A 12 VOLT MOTOR WITH 48 VOLTS.

So why are they bad for hopping?
THEY BURN UP QUICKER. THEY ARE 6 VOLT, AND HAVE 1/2 THE NUMBER OF ARMATURE WINDINGS, WHICH WILL EITHER BURN UP OR THE WIRE WILL SLING OFF AT HIGH RPM'S.

So, O.G, with that being said, would a 24-36V street rider benifit from a 6Volt motor.... If I were to run 4 six volt motors on my setup, would 2 bays of 24V be reliable and quick?

YES, YOUR CAR WILL RAISE UP FASTER, BASICALLY, THE MOTOR WILL SPIN 2 TIMES AS FAST.

I can't fit to many batteries in my car, and want to run my four pumps, so MAYBE 6Volt motors is the answer, As I would have comparable lift running a 6V @ 24V to a 12V @ 48V correct?

yet I would have a bit more (pretty well double) the switch time by using the 6V motors.....

Would I burn out the 6Volt motors quick running them @ 24Volts?
