After busting my driveshaft and having it "repaired" 3 times; it is still not working the way it should. It shimmies like crazy. It may be cheaper at this point to start over.

So here is the question: What drive shafts are compatible with 63 impala, 2-door hardtop?

I would gather that 62, 63, 64 Imp, Bis, Bel-Air are. I also heard that mid 70's chevy pickup trucks may be, but am not sure of any details like year and model....

Who put your slip yoke and center support on? If they are not put on just perfect, you will have problems.

then your slip yoke dont have enough splince travel to make it run smooth, i got 20" strokes in the back and run a slip shaft with a og rubber carrier and it works perfect.

you'll have to measure up the distance from the pinion to the carrier when dumped and when locked up to know how long splince travel you'll need.

True... one of my bearing bolts vibrated out and it sucked...

I re tapped my solid bearing it for a bigger diameter, fine threaded bolt, and it helped alot. More surface area to grip.
