i cant decide on air of juice...air takes up less room I think and you dont have hyrdaulic fluid leaks either...can anyone give me any advice on an air set up and could I do 3 wheels with air?

i have a 64 on air, is that similiar enough??? ;)

ask away, I'll try to answer any questions...

standing 3's are a definite no, rolling 3 depends on weight placement and your desire to do it...
well what is needed to lay frame? I can tell my exhaust will hit before anything...does the frame need to be notched? I cant really decide between 13 or 14 inch wheels.

my car's front crossmember sits about 1/2" above the pavement when fully dropped on 13's..

I tried 14's, but they wouldnt tuck out back...

I did have to "eyebrow" the front spring pockets to use the 2600's up front...

I have mixed feelings on using that large of a bag up front..

you dont need the added lift that the 2600 affords over the 2500, but the 2600 has a larger diameter.. which makes for a better ride, due to more air volume and a lower working pressure...

you might be able to stick a 2500 under there without notching the frame at all...

here is my 63 on air. i went with an air ride technologies setup. it was completly bolt on. no cutting, no trimming......just bolt it in. i did have to weld the upper shock mounts on the front. but, as you can see, it lays out. it will lay the headers right on the ground, i had re-weld the upper shock mounts up a bit higher to prevent it from laying the headers on the ground. oh yeah, im running 14's and it tucks like crazy :)

the install was a snap. im also running 2 compressors and 2 5 gallon tanks and air ride technologies ride pro valves.

if you need any help, let me know, i never mind helping out. also, big dan is a master at this kind of stuff, he will definatly send you in the right direction as well.

you can see some installations pics by going to http://www.low-riders.com and searching the discussion forums, there are tons of install pics there
