Other than a wishbone, what other ideas can be used for a higher lock up in the rear of an impala..

I had already started on a wishbone but if there are anymore ways to get a higher lock up i would be very interested.. We wanted to hake it a double gate but its on bumper with a single.. We still wanna go double gate but that would be no use with it on bumper now...

should i extend the lower trailing arms... if so how much.. should i drop the lower trailing arm mounts?

Should i drop the mounts for the wishbone... Cylinder length isnt a problem..

And as always, pics and example are always appreciated.

the wishbone or 4link is the best bet, you can do drop mounts but you will still have shifting issues with the pbar

if u do drop mounts i believe you might have issues with the wishbone sitting on top of the drive shaft at the rear end when layed out. i coudl be wrong though. also, the lower trailing arms should be stretched out. i know a minimum would get you around 46 inches of lock up. if u stretch the lowers more than 2 inches you would probably want to call ron over at black magic or pm him on what other things you may need to do.
