i am building my first 64 impala 3 pumps 2 to rear but only 8s in the front and 10s in the rear was wondering with such a basic setup do i need to change my drive shaft i had a 65 laid frame didnt do anything to drive shaft but i keep reading i need to on 64 thanks alot

If you keep your shocks you won't get out more than like 8" in the back, even with a minimum of coil. Run a slip shaft if you want the carrier bearing to last more than a few month... ;)

what the use of using two rear pumps and only 10's in the back?

go with the 14's and get a driveline from rich ..and a heavy duty carrier bearing ... ...it's a must...(just dont forget to notch the frame either ...or you will getting drive line redid ..)

12's would look good in back too ... other wise the rear willtrack alot ..and then we start talking about the wishbone /slingshot
