is it possible to buy a 65 impala air ride kit were you dont have to trim the spring pockets in the front? thanks. Peter

Well cut it then reinforce/weld over whats' left of the frame ;)

Its possible I did one about two years ago and only had to cut off a bump stop just make the top bracket a little longer and it will pass the top spring pocket. Thats how I did it and still have not had any problems.

Very true,you'll loose a little drop doing it that way tho.But 99% of the time no one would ever know

I also did my 1968 impala just cut the bump stop off and then just enlarged the pocket on the inside looks factory no need for a notch on the outside of the frame and a little bit longer cup with a slam re7 bag. It still rides low

thats what Im looking for. Then it can be done without to much cutting. Nice :cool:
