Was up building an 75 caddy thinking about going air well one reason is
big ass car.Was going to do hydros but only want front and back only.
Can anybody tell me whats good kit and if your working on one show me some
pic because I don't know shit about air rides but can learn from best
Give me some opinion. :confused:

run 200 psi and use big bags 2600 on the front and rear :biggrin: :biggrin:

This also includes the air line to

a knife or any other sharp object can cause bag failure as well

a blow torch a soldering iron or anything that gets hot enough to melt rubber

if instled correctly and with some comon sense it should be fine. theres lots that can go wrong on a stock car of this age. i have a 70 calais and it left me on the road twice before i even had air.

my system has had some bugs in it but i just try and carry a tool box with some cresents and teflon tape and the like incase i have to fuck with some shit thats not working quite properly.

your bags should be fine if they are installed correctly and not rubbing on shit.

Well i guess if your using all those tools around something as common as rubber maybe they shouldn't be using the tools in the first place.

Then again there's those"I know what i'm doing" type of dumb asses that are not willing to learn anything and fuck up anything they touch.

...and about the braking down, what about a leaking hose w. Hydro? you`ll be as stuck on the road and you might get a fine for polluting ;)

if you are going to install yourself, i suggest to have at least one extra pair of experienced hands and eyes to assist.

it would look damn good tho!

and shit the fuck up Im planning on keeping the car so I want to do it right the first time. What the best commpressor to use. And again thank

do you want a electric or EDC=engine driven compressor??

What's your budget

Can you do the work yourself??

Don't really have an buget plan. Do have fabication skill. How well do
EDC work. Im looking for an set up thats more dependable something that last long. Not just install and than break down don't mind doing maintence work. Looked at some topic and got an lesson on 480 compressors Thanks

i have two 480's in mine on an 8 gall tank. its painfully slow. takes forevr to go from 100 -250 (about 6-8 minutes)
not to mention it kills my battery every nite :mad:
so if your switch happy then id say edc.

if you want reliabliity just install it correctly. you will still have some problems as you are adding a bucnh more things to go wrong in your suspension. maint is the key.

How you always killing your batt?
What kind wire you running up,alternator,batterie???Your not running them compressors w/ teh car off are you?Hope not,that's the worst thing you could do to not only compressors but your charging system.

2g dirrect from the battery. they run constantly when im ridin though cause im bangin the fuck outa that shit steady. then ma batter is tits up by the time i get home. im not going to waste the money upgrading the alternator and the likes.

edc period.

Run a jumper from the + of the batterie to the + of the alternator.Id do 4 gauge.Reason being what your really doing is completing a loop.Getting a DIRECT charge right from the alternator.Not gonna hurt shit.Try this if you already havent
