I added 4 6x9's in the back of my 80 Coupe De Ville. It had the holes made for 4x6's but I cut that shit out and had mounted the 6x9's. and there is room for my cylinders. So it can be done. You just got to do that shit right. I have no pics, but it was installed at a shop.

ya man, I try to do EVERYTHING myself, but this might be something that I need to leave to the pro's. I guess we cant all know how to do everything.

What are you guys using to cut the holes? I usually use a jigsaw, and go from underneath, which sucks.

If you run a strong front setup, you wont need the rears (and you wont miss them) nice 6.5" component set up front with a couple hundred watts on them, them rears will be useless then

ya thats what I have right now. 3.5" dash speakers, 6.5's in the door down low and the satellites arent mounted yet, still trying to determine the best spot for them. no amps, just running off my ravdvd2 unit, which puts out decent power so far...

You wont find any rear speakers in most SQ audio setups. Unless you want to run surround sound 5.1 for movies, then i wouldn't even worry about them at all.

I Have 2 6x9s mounted in the middle of my Coupe's rear deck, there is room. I dont feel like trying to post pics but it will work. If you really dont think it will, use some 4x10s or 5x8s, but Im telling you it will.
