i bought a 93 fleetwood and the rear end is locked up. i got an axle out of a buick roadmaster with the car. the guy i got it from said he bought the buick rearend from a man who said the two are the same. my questions are
a. are they the same
b. will the sensor plugs be the same
c. geared same as caddy

or should i just try to find a fleetwood rearend. any help is appreciated. thanks, renus

cadillac was the only one with 2 brake hoses, all the other b bodies have 1, you will have to adapt that. The gearing could be different there were 3 different gears the fleetwoods used and a couple for the roadmaster. The width is the same, considered narrow compared to other b bodies.

I dont think a roadmaster frame would swap either, cadillac was a d body a little bit longer than the caprice buick olds b body
