I was just told that those tires on a 14x6 rim should not rub. do they rub all the time or just at certain times. my friend just bought a 96 Fleetwood and we are trying to figure out a reverse rim and tire combo for that car other wise we are left with cutting the back axle 3/4" on each side to make them fit. Thats a lot of money that could be put to use somewhere else on the car. George SRS

DONT JUST SHAVE EM ! cut the shit out of them ,and bend the arms for the skirts inward so that they still lock in place.I have 13 x7s on mine with no problemos.

I got a 94 fleetwood, and it sits on 13X7 on 155x80s. No problems except in the front - had to shave the calipers and use some spacers.
