This is one of my older models which I built back in 1996. It is a 1/24 scale Mercedes Benz 500LS Fujimi model which came with no engine. The doors and trunk were cut open by using sewing thread and for hinges I used bread tie wire so they would be easy to open or closed. The swivel seats were scratch built out of card board and then were upholstered with real leather. For the swivel part of the seats I used snap buttons for the base which I picked up at a clothing store. The spoiler was scratch built out of a sheet of plastic. And for the paint I applied a silver base coat then I airbrushed the 3d ghost graphics with black and white paint then I applied the Testors candy blue and lots of Testors clear. This is the most exposure this model has ever received. I have entered it in only two model shows.
