When u buy an accumulator do they come precharged with gas or is that up to the customer to do. Just wonderin cause my ass has never felt the need for accumulators so ive never really thought about it, but one of my customers asked me and I wasnt sure. Any answers would be appreciated. Later.

I m putting accumulators in the rear of my 82 cutlass but I dont know if is going to help the ride. I got 4 batteries, 2 pumps and 2 1/2 ton springs all around do you think is going to make a difference please help out since you got experience with accumulators. If is going to help what is it going to improve cause my ride on the rear is really bumpy. ;)

Yes, accumulators come pre-charged. I think most companies (and I KNOW CCE does) set them at 300 psig. But remember though, even though most people don't do it, they should actually be adjusted to each customer. A 300-pound accumulator rides totally different in a Civic than it does in a Big Body.
