When we prepped the body of my 84 Regal for paint, we removed the top and shaved the mounting tabs off the body.

Now after 2 months of being painted (Kandy) the body panel seams are cracking the paint right on the post above the door.

So I have to put a top back on the car.

Can a reputable shop make the top look good? I have seen some shit tops with snaps around the trim.

How much is it going to cost?

A good shop can do it. I had a full top put on my 79 caddie for 600.00
