Air bags and battery question

On my 62 impala with air ride suspension when my car is at idle my battery voltage gauge shows 14 volts but as soon as my dual viar compressors turn on the gauge goes down to 11 volts . My battery is new bought it from auto zone, and the alternator is a powermaster 150 amp.is this something that can be fixed or I just have to live with it?
