[Pitbullx]

everytime I cut the AC on in my 80 Impala the fuse blows... any idea what could cause this? Ive checked for shorts but I havent seen any bare wire touching

Try disconnecting the compressors wire. It should be close to the electric clutch on the compressor close to the front of it by the pulley. Also track it down and see if it goes through a low pressure valve on one of the AC lines.
It might not be a bare wire but a shorted out electric clutch ?.
