Here's a background on me and the car:

For 16 yrs i've dreamt about owning a 64', but due to lack of funds and other stuff, i spent my time building scale models of the car i always wanted.

Until last week when my boy Tiny (UNPREDICTABLE SS) made me a deal on a car of his that was sitting for some time. A deal was worked out and I am now on the path that many of you guys have either walked or are still walking it.

Thanks for looking, although he is not much now.

Here's what he looked like when i saw him. Sitting in a couple inches of mud.

I havent done much yet aside from taking the window tint off and removing all the junk in the trunk. Also cleaned up the interior. FOund a few mumafied rats. Just wanted to post better pics and will follow with more as progress is done.

Hopefully I'll yank the frame out next week and start from there.

Ordered new a new floor pan and trunk pan from CarsInc. Paint and body is scheduled for November.

Doesn't look to bad body wise, but damn that interior reminds me of a balling ball I saw back in 80's Good luck with project .

Reason for the name, "EL JEFE", is because the car is gonna be dedicated to my old man.

Desde chavalio, I kept buggin him for a 64. Although he knew nothing about Impalas or lowriding, he always managed to find me old tore up Nova's, cadillacs, even a Ford Ranchero cause he thought they were 64's. LOL.

So I figured this one's for him ! El Jefe, mi jefe.

He'll slowly come together. Just brainstorming for now and getting my bread together.

In my initial post, i stated that I had found mumafied rats....well here's the proof. Found another one. This one was stuck behind the dash...This should be the last one. I went over that car in and out.
