you sir, are truly an idiot... you asked for proof, it was provided. The Ford was featured in the magazine MONTHS before the x-sonic was at that show with it's hydros...so how about you just shut the hell up, seeing as how all you are doing now is making yourself look very stupid.

Oh, and I love how you are talking like you know them both referring to them by their first names like they are your friends...  :uh:  :uh:  :twak:  :twak:
you gettin mad huh ? :cheesy: you know you don't got no REAL proof

mad?? no... I'm just amazed that someone like you can figure out how to even use a computer, let alone post on a forum and show how much of a retard you are...

There's the story of when X-Sonic showed the hydros, I also showed the magazine from FEBRUARY (months before memorial day) that featured the Ford with it hydros already in use and you are too narrow minded to allow the possibility that you are WRONG.

I also see that you never commented on the fact that the French had it on a car in 1952... so as I said,

IT WAS NOT A MEXICAN THAT DID IT FIRST!!!!

He has been interviewed on tape and went into detail about the car. There are also several publications that are dated that prove his car was at a car show with hydraulics before aguirre had his vette. the new owner of the car has everything.
Do you know what other publications it was in?

Also, I wonder if Technical Lowrider "crowned" Aguirre as the first builder with hydraulics since the car disappeared in the early 60s? and didn't show up again until they interviewed him in the early 80s. I'll have to look that up.

Either way, it would be great to see both cars restored, they're both an important part of history. I don't think either builder thought they were setting a precedent for what we have today.

As far as the French "inventing" hydraulics or whatever, they obviously didn't have custom applications in mind when they came up with it. But I wonder why American builders didn't check this out back then.

I read in LRM that Ron has Spanish, as in European, roots and does not identify himself with Latino/Chicano Culture.

Mr. Aragon, I hope you draw the positives out of this discussion and put something together informative.

no they didnt but if you look at their system its far more practical than the systems out there today. im sure if someone has seen it sooner they wouldve used the set up not to mention shipping shit around the world wasnt as easy as it is now.

the dates in the mag don't mean shit though for real, those are just dates they were featured. But i guess if we really wanna know someone needs to get both Ron and Jim together and interview them both. But until then this is where it is according to wiki ;)
the whole ignorance behind saying someone SCAVENGED parts from a B-52 in 1959 is worse than all the misinformation surrounding who lifted the first car put together.

are people really that stupid???????

WHo gives a fuck.. neither of them cars was a lowrider.. so what they wasn't Chicano either.. Hydros didn't become koo until Chicanos used them in Lowriders and made them mainstream anyways.. my 2 cents..

Looks like proof to me that the first lifted ride was a Ford and again from the City of Long Beach, California.
