Long story behind the door panel price.

the $350 from cars is an assembled door panel, meaning that the top rail that forms the shape of the door panel at the very top edge is already on the new door panel, they also come with the window felt weatherstripping piece already installed.

the $175 from impalaparts.com (Hubbards) is for an Un-Assembled door panel in which you will have to reuse the original metal rail from the original door panels, usually these are rusty and need to be blasted to get them clean, and they dont come with the weatherstripping, and unless you are buying red, blue or black its a non-stocking item and will take 4-8 weeks .

now, that was the short story behind the door panel price difference.

But the real question here is, why was this topic made in the hydraulics forum??
