I getting a deal on 2 10"Audiobahn Pro Comp subs. And I was wondering if they were any good. I'll be pushing them with 2 Brutus BX1605D amps. Let me know if I should go with some more subs because I already own the amps.

depends on how much your getting the subs for... if your paying more then $100 for the 2 then check out other subs...

im not a hater of audiobahn subs, i've just heard a couple of their applications and wasnt satisfied with output...

What do you suggest? I was told they were suppose to be top of the line for Audiobahn.

audiobahn usually handles half of the rated RMS, and your amps prolly do bout 2/3 to full RMS, so i would look at power rating of the subs thoose amps will prolly blown the shit out of them.

Hifonics Brutus BX1605D
1x1600watts RMS @ 1ohm
1x1100watts RMS @ 2ohms


depending on how much you are willing to spend on subs, you might not need both of those amps...

to be honest with you, if i were on a serious budget and had room, i would buy 2 05CVR Dual 2ohm kicker 15's, build the box myself (slot vented) to kickers compact ported enclosure specs, and wire them in series so i could send 1100watts RMS @ 2ohms to them...

but if i WASNT on a budget, (2) 15" ____________ would be sitting in the trunk...
