Have the put stick on weight's on.
Putting on the hammer on lead weight's scratches up the lip in turn will allow rust to start under the chrome after time. This is putting the weight's on the back of the wheel

There are places that won't do it but you should balance them....just have them use the stick on weights on the back so you can have the front lip clean...the car will still shake if your on the highway reaching 70...

I don't balance my own personal wheels, but i usually do for customers, A good wheel manufactured as intended by its designer or engineer does not need balanced!
Usually the shake is from the tire. Tires are not 100% uniform and are usually distorted from the factory up to a certain % after the approved % has been met they sell them as seconds or blems ( and blems are real shitty depending upon brand).

So sometimes yes your shit needs balanced but most wheels that are made with quality and have a strict engineer do not need balanced, as the wheel should be 100% uniform in weight and shape.

And usually if your steering wheel shakes its more than just a balance mostly loose steering and suspension components.

If the car is shaking, you probably have a wheel/tire or suspension problem.

I WOULD BALENCE THEM. 2 BE HONEST UR NOT BALCING UR WHEELS. UR BALENCING UR TIRES. TIRES HAVE SOME HEAVY SPOTS IN BETWEEN THE BELTS AND WHEN UR CAR STARTS TO SHAKE THAT MEANS THE BELTS HAVE SHIFTED AND U NEED TO REBALENCE UR TIRES.

No I don't, I had it balanced with weights on both sides like regular and the car was rolling perfect. I had asked to have it balanced with stick on weights on the back only and now like at 70-80 it shakes a bit, not alot though. Thats why its low and slow...lol..gotta give up a luxury to have a luxury

That is because when they are only balanced on one side with the stick on weights like you are supposed to do on custom wheels, it is a STATIC balance. And a static balance is just half ass, because you are only correcting half the problem.
Don't get me wrong it works but they always shake.

My Z's on 5.20's werenot balanced at the time of mouting. Dorve it a few time and speeds over 45 my Monte shook bad... After I had the wheels balanced it resolved the problem. Balancing your wheels and tires is a must. Just my 2 cents if it mean anything.
