I put a voltage tester on the batteries and all four read 12.6 volts a piece but when i hit the switch to raise the rear it goes real slow about 1/2 way up than stops like the batteries are dead. What is wrong with this?

TEST THE BATTERY'S GRAVITY IN EACH CELL. WHEN YOU FIGURE OUT WHICH CELL IS BAD YOU CAN TRY TO BREAK OFF THE ACID (SHELL) BUILT UP ON THE PLATE BY COMPLETELY DRAINING THE BATTERY STONE DEAD. WITH A SLOW LOAD . THEN YOU CHARGE THE BATTERY BACK UP FULL. THEN DISCHARGE THE BATTERY COMPLETELY ONCE MORE. THEN CHARGE IT BACK UP . THEN CHECK THE GRAVITY AGAIN. IF THE GRAVITY IS BACK TO NORMAL (THEN THE SHELL FELL OFF THE PLATE) YOUR GOOD. IF NOT THEN MOST OF THE PLATE FELL OFF TO THE BOTTOM OF THE BATTERY AND ITS SHOT . OR NEEDS A NEW PLATE. ;)
