its about 30 degrese out and i hit a switch for a second to see if the batts were still up and they were pettery much dead. so i started charging them up one at a time with a 12 volt cherger at 2 amps. according the gauge on the charger it isent all the way full after 2 day on the charger. so does it need more time or are they getting shot. they are 1050 cca and are about 2 years old..any thoughts

u think 2 years is old?

a battery can only handle so much discharge and recharging... 2yrs is a lil old....u might want to take the batteries down and have them charged and load tested....but for a 2 am charge it usually takes me about a day to charge 1 battery..dependin on how low it got

also the cold will slow the charge down a bit if your using an automatic charger just let it go till it turns itself off
