I JUST FINISHED AIR STRUTS IN A LEXUS ES300 THE LINE THAT GOES FROM THE COMPRESSOR TO THE WATER FILTER KEEPS BLOWING OUT RIGHT AT THE FITTING, IT WAS FINE WITH THE CAR OFF BUT WHEN WE STARTED THE CAR THE COMPRESSOR WORKED FASTER AND BLEW THE PLASTIC RIGHT OUT OF THE FITTING. THE ONLY THING I CAN THINK OF IS THE CHECK VALVE AT THE TANK WONT LET THE AIR PUSH THROUGH FAST ENOUGH. HES GOT A PARKER 3/8 CHECK IS THIS TOO STRONG?

Some check valves need a certain amount of pressure to even open up.
THATS WHY I THINK ITS TOO STRONG BUT NOT SURE

did you make sure the check valve was going in the right direction too? just a thought, also, if you are using push to connect fittings, the hose needs to be cut really straight. I pull back on the fitting and push the air line all the way in till it bottoms out and locks its self.

what brand of fittings,  do they have the tube in the center that the line goes around??
NOT SURE WHAT BRAND THE KIT IS CHASSIS TECH THERES NO TUBE THE LINE GOES ON JUST THE PLASTIC RING, BUT I EVEN USED A COMPRESSION FITTING WITH THE TUBE AND IT BLEW THE LINE RIGHT AT THE FITTING.

thats the problem, you need to use all brass DOT fittings, then you'll be cool..
THE COMPRESSION FITTING SHOULD OF WORKED THEN BUT THE LINE BLEW. THATS ALL BRASS

DO YOU THINK THE CHECK VALVE COULD BE TOO STRONG OR THE PRESSURE SWITCH TOO MUCH FOR THE SIZE TANK?
I use a 5 psi check and a 175 psi p/s...
have had zero problems...

if youre using say a 50PSI check, and a 175 psi p/s, your compressor will need to develop 225PSI... which may be to much for the plastic line..
