Alright well I thought I'd start this topic since I'm getting a lot of questions on display and accessories but I know there are deeper issues also that I don't even know the answer to myself.

BigTex, LilDeville, and other part makers can answer welding, grinding, polishing, type questions very good.

So post up tech questions if you got any. I know there's a lot of newbies out there that don't know where to start so I thought this would be a good topic especially for you guys.

Yeah you should be able to find the smaller metal rod at hardware stores and heat them up with like a torch , put in a vice, and twist with vice grips

what about where you screw it to the nipple?
No wonder why your wife always runs away whenever you wanna mess around, always trying to screw her nipples off :ugh:

Naw but for real what you do is you can take the nipple out and weld the rod to the wheel from the inside of the wheel or weld it to the nipple. :dunno: I haven't seen a lot of bikes with twisted spokes. I'll try to find pics later

how do u make custom fenders ?????????????????????????????????

how to do the 36 s twisted thing

how to polish chrome
Take the fender and cut your shapes out of it . use paper and make yourself a template for how you want it to look like, sides, top 3D step outs, etc. cut your sheet metal according to how your paper cut outs come out. Weld those pieces to the fender, grind down welds, bondo, sand, primer ready for paint

Well it depends but you might want to relace the rim :dunno: but if you cant you gotta take it apart, pound it out, could be hard depending on how bad it is.

how to polish chrome

Depends on what you prefer but I use Mother's chrome polish on a flannel cloth to apply and a dry cloth to remove, make sure it dries to a haze before you remove it. Just like car wax but do NOT use car wax on your chrome.

I suggest using a gold polish cloth to polish all your gold, you can get them at jewlers, that's what I use on my gold
