Why must people do dumb shit like bag or juice a 4x4. It's not meant to be lowered!!!!! Only lifted!!!!!!!!!!! It's like puttin a honda engine in a Ferrari. But anyway usually on 4x4's the frame hangs lower than a 2x4 frame does. And you would need a drastic body drop.

I you wanna body drop a 4x4 go right on ahead!Do what you want to with what you got! What's the fuckin' difference anyway?Besides the crossmember's bein' different, and the front differential-those are the only differences-the frame is not larger, it doesn't hang down further-unless it has a body lift on it-good luck-PEACE

A lot of the tightest trucks start out as 4x4's-there is no differencs in the frames-- the GM factory wouldn't fuck around w/ all kinds of different frames for the same truck-they use the same ones for long beds, and diiferent ones for shortbeds. The only difference is in the front crossmembers, and the tranny crossmember--PERIOD!!
