Nope, anyhow, its still unacceptable IMO. if that was the case then they are still applying too much filler and need to rethink their repair procedures. I know in the shop I work in its all about qualityand this is unacceptible, now there are times when this situation is unavoidable, I can attest to that. But when the filler is bridging uncatalyized substrates your just asking for problems.

i agree i would feather the metal back before i would put filler on paint :0
