Oh and when you change the pads, take the rotors to a shop and have them resurface the rotor too.

i cant tell if i need new pads or if its my rotors. WHen i go to stop its not a smooth stop its a rough shakey one. Is that my pads or my rotors? will i have to get them rotated?
best thing is to take them off and see. The rotor should be smoothe and the pad should n't be run down all the way to the metal. I would think it's your rotors, but you could need an alignment.

when you take the wheel off, if the rotors and pads are all in good shape it could be the calipers or or caliper pistons
