i did a little bit of research and can only find that the fuel lines come out in different places(between carb/fuel injection) and it looks like the holes for the trans cross member are different-also seen something about the 93-96 has a notch for something to do with the a/c :dunno:

reason for askin is that im gonna get a cheap 80's "fo do" and strip to throw the frame under my 95 fleet-just curious because im wrapping the frame and not stripping my fleet until the frame is ready for me to sit my fleet body on-just wanna know what to change while welding and cuttin

Thats pretty much it, the cutout for the ac unit dosent really matter cause if you wrap it it will allow enough clearance for it. Tranny support will need to be moved also.

what part of the a/c? the condenser? im not sure what "notch" needs to be made :dunno: as for the crossmember i think im good,i had mine on the lift today to change trans filter so i investigated-i got two holes on each side caddy coner-an 80s has 4 on one side and 2 on the other-still has same line up for my caddy corner holes ,will just have 2 unused holes like the box bodies,

The notch for the ac compressor is on the crossmember.

ill check that out in the morning-seems like i have plenty of room between motor crossmember and compressor tho,but i will check it out :dunno:

Like I said you dont need to notch it, its tight but there is enough room for it.

Okay I know this question has been asked plenty of times thats why I didn't want to start a new topic but is a 84 caddy frame the same as a 93 caddy frame?
