Hi all,
I juiced a 78 Monte and used powerballs in the rear with 3 1/2 ton coils with about three coils and oth front and rear sway bars. The problem is that when the car is fully locked up front and rear and I drop one of the rear corners, the rear corner barely drops about 1/2 to 1". If I drop both rear sides down a little more, the car will also drop a little lower when I do the corners. It's almost like it's getting hung up but I checked everything and it all looks fine. I don't know what else to do. I was thinking maybe shorter shocks but I think that will hurt my ability to three wheel. It sucks even more cause I can't throw a side from fully locked up unless I drop the car from the rear even more.
Any suggestions you guys can give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

sway bars reason for being there is to stop a car from swaying side to side ,so lose it .and take off the shocks

Ok I got it, lose the bars. <g> Did that this morning and it throws a MEAN side to side. Thanks to all for your help. I didn't think the swaybars would hold it up that much but I guess you learn something new every day. Thanks again for everyones help.

I to have a 78' Monte....I am having trouble Standing 3 (i have 4 pumps 14'' cylinders) and i recently chainbridged it, and when i go to lift the left rear it really struggles to the point of where i welded the C CHANNEL the welds are breaking apart. You all think if i took off the rear sway bar it would make the car stand 3 easier?? please help guys.
